The division

Our founding business

Plastics and polymers is where Dunhill started in 1994, and it is still our largest division by volume.

We represent overseas producers as their appointed agent in Bangladesh, import on our own account, and supply pipe and fittings manufacturers, film and packaging producers, injection moulders, cable factories, compounders and footwear units nationwide.

Tell us the grade you are running now and the application. We will match it, quote it, and give you a delivery date we can hold.

How it works

Three ways to buy from us

Indenting

For container-load volumes we arrange direct shipment from the producer, raise the indent, and support the LC through to delivery. You buy at mill price.

Direct import

We import on our own account and sell to you locally, so you do not have to open an LC or handle customs yourself.

Stock sales

Regular grades are held locally. Lift the quantity you actually need, when you need it, without waiting for a shipment cycle.

What we handle either way

Indent, PI, LC and UPAS LC documentation, insurance, Chattogram port clearance, and delivery to your factory gate anywhere in Bangladesh. COA, MSDS and Certificate of Origin with every consignment.

What our customers rely on

Why Choose Us?

01

Direct producer relationships

Appointed agency agreements, not a third-hand supply chain. Better price and faster answers.

02

Grade matching

Send us the grade you run now. We will offer the closest equivalent from our principals.

03

Supply you can schedule around

Planned shipments and local stock, so your line does not stop waiting for material.

04

Documentation done right

LC and UPAS LC handled in-house by people who do it every working day.

05

Technical support

Processing or formulation problem? We bring the producer’s technical team into the conversation.

06

Thirty years in the trade

Trading polymers in Bangladesh since 1994.

Common questions

Polymer supply enquiries

What is the minimum order quantity?

Direct import normally needs a full container load. Stock grades can be supplied in smaller quantities, subject to availability.

Can you match the grade I am running now?

Usually yes. Send us the grade name, the producer and the application, and we will offer the closest equivalent from our principals.

What is the difference between DOP, DINP and DOTP?

All three are plasticizers for flexible PVC. DOP is the general-purpose standard. DINP has lower volatility and is often used where longer-term flexibility matters. DOTP is a non-phthalate alternative, chosen when the end buyer or export market requires phthalate-free material.

Do you supply masterbatch in custom colours?

Yes. Send us a colour reference or a sample of the finished part and we will arrange matching.

Can you arrange UPAS LC terms?

Yes. We work with UPAS LC regularly and can guide you and your bank through it.

Where do you deliver?

To factories anywhere in Bangladesh, cleared through Chattogram port or delivered from local stock.
